Adding your virtual debit card to Google Pay or Apple Pay allows you to make secure, contactless payments instantly. Follow this step-by-step guide to upload your card quickly and easily.
Step 1: Show the Card Data
Before adding your card, ensure you can access your virtual debit card details, including:
- Card number
- Expiration date
- CVV (security code)
- Cardholder name
You can find these details within your Sequence account under the Cards section.
Step 2: Add Your Card to Google Pay or Apple Pay
Option 1: Manually Enter the Card Information
If your device does not support automatic scanning, enter the card details manually.
For Google Pay
- Open the Google Wallet app on your Android device.
- Tap Add to Wallet > Payment card > Enter details manually.
- Input your card number, expiration date, and CVV.
- Follow the verification process (you may need to verify via SMS or email).
- Once confirmed, your card is ready for use.
For Apple Pay
- Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
- Tap the + icon in the upper right corner.
- Select Debit or Credit Card, then choose Enter Card Details Manually.
- Input your card number, expiration date, and CVV.
- Follow any additional security prompts to verify your card.
- Your card is now linked to Apple Pay.
Option 2: Use Your Phone’s Camera to Scan the Card
For a faster setup, you can scan the card instead of manually entering the details.
For Google Pay
- Open the Google Wallet app.
- Tap Add to Wallet > Payment card.
- Select Scan your card and allow camera access.
- Position your phone’s camera over your virtual card to capture the details automatically.
- Complete any required verification steps.
For Apple Pay
- Open the Wallet app and tap the + icon.
- Select Debit or Credit Card and choose Scan Card.
- Hold your phone over your virtual card to let Apple Pay auto-fill the details.
- Verify the card through SMS or email if required.
