How Do I Add My Virtual Card to my Wallet?

Adding your virtual debit card to Google Pay or Apple Pay allows you to make secure, contactless payments instantly. Follow this step-by-step guide to upload your card quickly and easily.

Step 1: Show the Card Data

Before adding your card, ensure you can access your virtual debit card details, including:

  • Card number
  • Expiration date
  • CVV (security code)
  • Cardholder name

You can find these details within your Sequence account under the Cards section.

Step 2: Add Your Card to Google Pay or Apple Pay

Option 1: Manually Enter the Card Information

If your device does not support automatic scanning, enter the card details manually.

For Google Pay

  1. Open the Google Wallet app on your Android device.
  2. Tap Add to Wallet > Payment card > Enter details manually.
  3. Input your card number, expiration date, and CVV.
  4. Follow the verification process (you may need to verify via SMS or email).
  5. Once confirmed, your card is ready for use.

For Apple Pay

  1. Open the Wallet app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the + icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Select Debit or Credit Card, then choose Enter Card Details Manually.
  4. Input your card number, expiration date, and CVV.
  5. Follow any additional security prompts to verify your card.
  6. Your card is now linked to Apple Pay.

Option 2: Use Your Phone’s Camera to Scan the Card

For a faster setup, you can scan the card instead of manually entering the details.

For Google Pay

  1. Open the Google Wallet app.
  2. Tap Add to Wallet > Payment card.
  3. Select Scan your card and allow camera access.
  4. Position your phone’s camera over your virtual card to capture the details automatically.
  5. Complete any required verification steps.

For Apple Pay

  1. Open the Wallet app and tap the + icon.
  2. Select Debit or Credit Card and choose Scan Card.
  3. Hold your phone over your virtual card to let Apple Pay auto-fill the details.
  4. Verify the card through SMS or email if required.
