My balance is wrong!

Balances can show up incorrectly from time to time. If the balance of a liability account is incorrect, first try checking the balance with Plaid instead of Method or Spinwheel. 

  1. Click on the account
  2. Go to Settings by clicking the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the rule page
  3. Flip the switch for Fetch balance with Plaid
  4. Follow the prompts in the Plaid screen

If you've tried all the above troubleshooting and you're balance is still incorrect, send us a message with the following information: 

  • Financial institution name
  • Type of account(s): checking, savings, credit card, etc.)
  • Correct balance
