Balances can show up incorrectly from time to time. If the balance of a liability account is incorrect, first try checking the balance with Plaid instead of Method or Spinwheel.
- Click on the account
- Go to Settings by clicking the 3 dots in the upper right corner of the rule page
- Flip the switch for Fetch balance with Plaid
- Follow the prompts in the Plaid screen
If you've tried all the above troubleshooting and you're balance is still incorrect, send us a message with the following information:
- Financial institution name
- Type of account(s): checking, savings, credit card, etc.)
- Correct balance
