The articles or certificate of incorporation is a document that establishes the creation of a corporation in the US.

What is included in Articles/Certificate of Incorporation?

The requirements for each state varies but generally, the following information is required:

  • Company Name
  • Business Purpose
  • Number of Shares Offered
  • Value of Shares
  • Directors and Officers
