What is a Limited Liability Company(LLC)?

A limited liability company (LLC) is a business structure that combines the characteristics of a corporation with those of a partnership or sole proprietorship. With LLCs, owners must separate their personal and business expenses to ensure their taxes are appropriately calculated.

For additional information on LLCs, check out this SBA article.

If we unable to verify your LLC information we may request the following business documents to confirm that your business has been registered with the state.

  1. Articles or Certificate of Organization - State certified copy with your name and signature
  2. EIN - Employer Identification Number(Letter 147C or SS-4 Confirmation letter from the IRS)
